About Vairal

The infrastructure for clippers.

Vairal exists so that any creator — in any country, in any language, on any phone, with no editing experience — can turn raw footage into shorts that are built to go viral. One idea in, a finished reel out. Born in India, built for the world.

The story.

Vairal started with a simple, slightly embarrassing truth: its founder, Riyaz, was never an advanced editor. A college dropout with ideas for videos — and no patience for the five apps, the timelines, and the years of practice it apparently took to make one reel look right.

So instead of learning to edit, he asked a different question: what if the AI did the editing? Working with his friend Mehdi, he started building — no funding, no team of engineers, just AI tools and stubbornness. The first version wrote scripts. Then it learned to cut. Then to find the most viral moments in a long video and caption them, word by word.

That scrappy experiment is now Vairal: an AI editor that does the whole job — write, cut, caption, polish — in the browser, in 40 languages, free to start. Born in India, home to one of the biggest creator communities on earth, and built for creators everywhere — growing into the infrastructure that clippers build on.

We’re just getting started. If you’re a creator, you’re exactly who this is for — come build it with us.

What we will not do.

No watermark on a free clip. No expiry on something you made. No downgrading your export to sell you the real one. If a limit exists, it is on how much of our computing you use — never on the dignity of the thing you made.

01

Your device does the work

Cutting, captions and reframing run in your browser. That is why the free tier is worth using.

02

Priced in rupees, for rupees

₹299 a month, not $29. The maths of a creator tool should work for the creator.

03

Honest about what it got wrong

Every clip says whether it was cut on a full sentence, so you are not left playing all six to find the bad one.

What we believe.

Editing shouldn't be the barrier

The best moment in your video shouldn't die on a timeline you don't know how to use. AI should do the tedious part — finding, cutting, captioning — so you can stay a creator, not become an editor.

Every language, first-class

Great tools shouldn't only speak English. Scripts, captions, and voiceovers in 40 languages — from English, Spanish, and French to Hindi, Tamil, and Bengali — treated as the point, never an afterthought.

Privacy you don't have to trust us for

Vairal edits inside your own browser, so your full-resolution footage never sits on our servers. We couldn't look at your videos even if we wanted to — the architecture won't allow it.

Free to start, honest to pay

Everything here is free — no card, no trial traps. When paid plans come, they'll be priced fairly for creators everywhere, whatever currency you earn in.

Trust & safety

Private and secured, by design.

Most video tools ask you to trust them with your footage. Vairal is built so you don’t have to — the privacy is in the architecture, not in a promise.

Your footage stays on your device

The heavy editing runs inside your own browser. Your full-resolution videos are never uploaded — only a small, low-quality preview is shared with the AI when a feature needs to see your clip.

Encrypted in transit

Everything that travels between you and Vairal — previews, scripts, your account — goes over encrypted HTTPS connections. Nothing is sent in the open.

A locked-down backend

Your saved library is private to your account, and our database refuses writes from anyone but our own servers. We store the minimum we need to run the product — nothing more.

No selling data. No ads. Ever.

We make money when creators choose to pay for Vairal — not by selling your data, profiling you, or showing you ads. Your content is yours, full stop.

The full detail is in our privacy policy.
